We had a wonderful experience at Smile Lodge from start to finish. My son was referred due to his sensitivities and anxieties. The Smile Lodge staff were very kind and welcoming and it was apparent that not only do they know how to handle children but they like them as well. Dr. McMahon was personable, compassionate, and did a flawless job on my son’s procedure. He even checked in on us later that evening to make sure everything went well. I was surprised at how much we enjoyed our experience and I would highly recommend this practice. My only complaint is I wish they took adult patients! Thank you Smile Lodge.

From the front desk staff to the dentist, everyone was amazing. My 3yr old son has hard time at the dentist (always) but they were very kind, very patient and very pleasant. I recommend this dentistry facility to everyone.

This place is amazing. We had a very traumatic experience at our previous dentist so finding out that the dentist office can actually be a positive experience is amazing! The atmosphere and staff is so inviting for children and adults. The staff really care about children and setting a positive tone for how they think about the dentist. To the woman who gave my son a grinch ballon today, thank you so much he is obsessed with it!

We have been going to smile lodge since our child grew his first tooth. I have never had a problem or concern with the care they provide. All staff are kind, caring, compassionate, and do their best to keep the children from feeling uneasy. At the first visit for orthodontic care; the adhesive got on our child’s face and caused a small burn. The orthodontist gave me clear aftercare instructions and his personal phone number to send pictures and updates about the healing process. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for pediatric dental care.

Our son, Connor, struggles with ptsd and anxiety due to past medical trauma. He is also on the spectrum & needs a lot of reassurance and patience to be cared for. Dr McDonnell and his team of nurses and techs were so great! They took their time, explained everything to us and to Connor as they went along. Between guiding us through the X-rays/sedation/extraction step by step, giving us personal insight and even singing to Connor throughout the procedure, we could not be happier with Dr McDonnell. Do not hesitate to bring your children to this beautiful and accepting clinic. We are so grateful to have found them!

We had a wonderful experience. My son is very young and felt very comfortable. He loved the decor and said it felt like a fancy hotel. The staff is so nice and understanding and incredibly patient. I highly recommend this office, especially for those parents whose kids have a lot of cavities. You’re in really good hands.
